Snicker sat staring out her bedroom window in awe. Do I really need glasses, or is it just one of those days? She thought to herself as her eyes bulged from their sockets. She rubbed her head and closed her drying eyes. First Birds, now this. Better get goin Angie or you're gonna be all alone. Snicker spun in her desk chair to face the door, then she spun in the direction of her closet. She had to change if she was going out for a walk. Skinnies and a Fifi Lapin Raglan shirt weren't exactly eye catching things. It was too much too cold for any of her Gucci stuff, besides, it hardly fit. Maybe that Coach sweater she got for Christmas last year? Was that still "in"? I should just throw that Forever 21 peacoat on... The grey one, with the silver buttons. Yeah... Should I wear the heels or my boots... Boots. Boots, Angie. Oh! And grab your leather bow headband. Awesome. Now, go talk to Echo, you crazy! Snicker got her stuff together and stuffed her biggest wallet into her purple Coach purse. I should take her to the mall, buy her some make-up or perfume or something! Snicker was halfway out the door when she realized something. Oh, God. I'm not intimidating at all alone. . . Better call Birdy. She supports the 'Make Echo Feminine Act', right? Snicker dropped her bag and pulled out her trusty old TrackFone ,her mother has actually been offering her cash to toss, and texted Birdy one line: Mall? Within seconds Snicker heard her cell vibrate in her pocket. Birdy's reply? YUS! She could never pass up the chance to bribe Angela into buying books for her.

Birdy sat restlessly inside the front door. She wore a green button down and a black and white plaid peacoat, along with a blue scarf, of course. Whenever she went out with Snicker she always felt awkward, because her clothes, and just lifestyle in general, was definitely not as fancy as Snicker's. Birdy stared down at her beat-up black ballet flats. She adored them, but they were old and not very stylish. Finally, she saw a flash of headlights and the sound of a familiar horn coming from the driveway. She snatched up her leather purse, called goodbye to her dad, and went out the door to the limo. Birdy slid into the luxurious car next to Snicker. "So, what's the mission?" she asked. "Echo needs to be feminized. It's urgent now." Snicker said with a purposeful tone. Birdy furrowed her eyebrows. She and Snicker had always been wanting to take Echo out to the mall and completely make her over, but they'd never been able to convince her, and had given up. Oh my gosh....this must mean...Echo is definitely getting close to a guy. "Spot?" Birdy inquired, wanting confirmation. Snicker simply nodded her head, along with a mischievous smile. Birdy returned it and the pair dove headfirst into planning out Echo's path to girliness.

"I'm so glad that you guys finally gave up on that stupid "make echo girly" thing, now the mall is actually slightly entertaining!" Echo told her two friends as they walked through the mall. Birdy and Snicker nodded a little then looked at each other in confirmation. Snicker and Birdy slowly backed up behind Echo then shoved her into --insert name of store I couldn't think of--
"HEY!!" Echo yelped in surprise. When she saw where she was she practically exploded.
"What are we doing here?!!" Echo fumed, her face turning red. Snicker and Birdy didn't answer her question but immediately began grabbing things off of the racks.
"Echo, this is for your own good." Snicker said to her, looking at her with eyes that could kill.
"Just cooperate and everything will work out fine." Birdy told her while coming at Echo with something pink.

"What dress size are you?" Snicker asked holding a dress up to Echo while Birdy put Echo's hands behind her back. "HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!" Echo roared. "What do you think, Birdy?" Snicker said calmly. "Try a small." Birdy suggested. Snicker nodded and pulled 4 dresses off the shelf. "Are you sure you want to spend that much?" Birdy asked. Snicker laughed. "This is nothing." "75 dollars?!" Echo exclaimed, "Thats not even how much my parents spend on Christmas!" "Yeah, mine are cheap, too. They only spend $800. Thats hardly enough for a decent Coach bag!" Snicker snorted as they paraded to the checkout. Birdy's eyes bulged and Echo sighed. "Now, would a 5 or a 6 compact foundation be closer to your complexion? Your skin is so tan already... Lets go with 6 to be safe, you can never be to tan." Snicker picked the make-up off the shelf. "No, I take that back. You've never met my Aunt Polly..."

Monday morning arrived and Echo was jolted out of a peaceful slumber by pounding at her door. She got up and drowsily glared at the still hazy figures in the doorway.
"Wipe that look of your face Echo, we've got work to do." Snicker ordered, then pushed passed the girl and began setting out everything they had gotten that weekend.
"And just in case you decide on some funny buisness, I brought rope." Birdy told Echo in all seriousness.
"You're kidding, you would never!" Echo glared hard at her trying to find some sign that she was bluffing.
"I know you all too well." Birdy said pulling a thick rope out from a large bag. Echo's eyes shot daggers at her friend and her face twisted into a wicked scowl.
"Now, sit down. We'll start on the make up first." Snicker commanded her once again, she was treating the situation like it she was queen and it was her ultimate purpose in life. Echo thought about fighting them, but with how intent they were on this she figured that they would get her anyway and it would just look even worse. She huffed, crossed her arms and plopped down into a chair.
((I wanted to write more, but this junk is NOT my forte, besides, this is your guys's thing, so take it away! oh and by the way, i'm not ok with this, DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THIS TO ME, EVER!!!))

((of course not! It's just entertaining for the plot. People have made me over like this so many times! At blue lake, with my sister, and my cousins in SC)) Birdy sat in the limo next to Echo, staring at her painted face. It had become that way through much struggle and compromise. Birdy thought Echo looked pretty, but it wasn't....Echo. She almost felt guilty for transforming her this way. But, what was done was done. Snicker certainly wouldn't let Echo turn back now. Andrew pulled up to the front of the high school and slowed to a stop. The butler opened the door for the girls. Birdy climbed out first, followed by Snicker. "Don't make me do this!" Echo desperately hissed from within. "We didn't work this hard just to see you chicken out! Get out of there!" Snicker urged. "Come on, Echo. You look really pretty; trust me!" Birdy said encouragingly. "You look amazing, Echo! There's no reason to back out!" Snicker chimed in. Echo let out a long groan. "Fine. But you owe me. Big time." Echo climbed ever-so-slowly out of the glossy limo. When she exited the car, all the students waiting by the doors gasped. Echo was wearing a pale purple blouse with a denim miniskirt which was layered over black tights. She teetered in her blue strappy heels. Echo's hair was glorious. It was finally worn down in loose waves, a black bow headband holding it away from her made-up face.

Echo hufffed, glared at the two, then stormed past them her hands clenched in fists, she scowled as she felt the sliver ring Snicker had forced on her finger. "Accessories are a must!" Snicker insisted. Echo shot daggers at anyone who stared at her for too long, she couldn't believe she was going to school like this.
"Woah, whose the new girl!!" Echo heard a familiar voice yell from behind her after she'd walked in. She turned around to see an astonished Mush pointing at her. She briskly walked toward the group of boys.
"lookin' good there, what's your name?" Mush said, beginning to flirt with Echo, completly oblivious.
"It's me you idiots." Echo growled. Mush leaned in and squinted, then his mouth dropped.
"ECHO!!" he burst out in shock. The rest of the boy's eyes grew wide and began to investigate themselves. This was not the girl they knew.
"Yes, it's me you doof! And, god! Close your mouth everybody, you aren't freaking gosh darn fish!!" Echo boomed.
"Sorry, you just don't look... like you!" Mush said with a shrug. Echo rolled her eyes and sighed.
"It's fine, just, don't expect this in the future!" Echo told him with a shove. They all laughed and realized that just because she looked different didn't mean that she wasn't their beloved Echo anymore. Echo was about to go to her locker when she felt someone behind her.
"I bet Spot will sure be happy..." Skittery whispered to her. Echo's eyes flamed as she whipped around and jabbed a finger at him. She racked her brain for a good response but failed. She gave up and shoved Skittery into a locker and stomped off, her heels clicking all the way.
"AUGH!!" The boys heard her practically scream halfway down the hall.
--------later--------- ((I kinda wanted to stop there, but Spot needs to be in this post!))
Echo hesitated before walking into the lunch room, she didn't have any classes in the morning with Spot and he was upstairs so this would be the first time he would see her and she knew someone had said something to him. She threw her lunch down at the table and waited for the rest of the girls to get there. She grumbled as she noticed a touch of lip stick on her sandwich after taking a bite.
"Nice outfit, I like ya hair like that." She heard a voice coming from above her. Echo didn't even look to see who the person was before she jumped from her seat and grabbed the person by the collar of their shirt.
"you want to say something about it punk!!" She growled in his face, before realizing in was Spot. Her eyes grew wide and she let her heels thunk against the ground.
"Ya know, now that I think about it, there is a little something I would like to say to you..." Spot said with a tiny sparkle in his eye. Echo cocked her head in confusion and stared at him.
"perfect." he said cooly. Spot tilted his head in the opposite direction and leaned forward, Echo felt his arm around her waist just moments before she felt his lips press gently against hers. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck, for just a split second they were no longer in a dirty school cafeteria, but in a wonderous dream, she wished this moment would last forever.
"Hey, lovebirds! Knock it off before one of the teachers catch ya!" Skittery told them with a sly smile. Spot took a step back and smiled at Echo with a small chuckle, she smiled back at him.
"I have to... have to go get my lunch." Spot forced out, he didn't want to leave her even it was just for a few minutes. He moved a stray strand of hair from her face and kissed her on the cheek before trotting off in the other direction. Echo watched him leave, then blushed, did that really just happen? She looked down at her outfit and twirled around, Echo beamed with joy and sighed to herself.
"Told ya he'd like it!" Skittery said to her, breaking her out of her trance.
"oh shut up!" Echo scolded him before punching him the the shoulder, but she couldn't help but be glad that he did.

"I wonder," Snicker said poking at her lunch, "if I dress like Echo usually does... Maybe a boy will like me more..." Birdy shook her head. "Only if he lives in a dumpster." "Are you two mocking me?!" Echo growled. "No, it's just that... If I started to dress like you, then I'd immediately give up my high status." Echo crinkled her face. "That doesn't even make sense." "Look around you, Echo. Everyone here dresses like they're parents work at McDonalds. My dad owns a cigar company so I have cash galore giving me privilege and high status. Unfortunately it isn't at it's full potential considering I only talk to you and Birdy here. I could be sitting next to Don Epperson, the head quarterback. Hes a freaking senior! "Instead, I sit by you two because I am smart. If I sat with him... I'd pretty much always be broke and probably have a boyfriend... Wow, maybe I am stupid..." Do I really dress like that?" Birdy whimpered. "No! Not you! Neither of you do. It's just that everything is more expensive and more dangerous in New York. The only reason people come here is because of what the media says and everyone in the media is as rich as my dad!" By now, Snicker was merely rambling. "Did I tell you about the time I tried for a modeling job? They rejected me because I was too small and I didn't have..." Snicker leaned in, "boobs." Echo snorted, "Thats just gross. Who really cares?" "Men." Birdy huffed. "The recruiter was gay!" "The more reason for it to be gross! He was probably just jealous, anyhow." Echo said. The three girls nodded.

The girls had started to eat in silence, none of them really wanting to find another topic of conversation when Snicker's head cocked to the side. Echo and Birdy looked at her confusion.
"You know what I jut realized?" Snicker asked them.
"What?" Echo replied.
"Spot's sitting here, I just noticed that too. I mean it makes perfect sense, Switch normally sits there and he never talks so we just ignore him, we've gotten so good at it we didn't even see that it wasn't Switchblade. hmmm" Birdy said in mono-tone, all while staring at Spot. Echo and Spot stared back at the two slightly dumb-founded.
"I just noticed another thing, they've been holding hands this whole time." Snicker piped in. Snicker put her hand on her chin and they all just sat and stared at each other for what seemed like ages.
"There's something going on between you two... isn't there?" Birdy conquered. Spot and Echo looked at each other, Spot reached his hand to her chin and pulled her in, their lips met and they shared a kiss for a moment, then pulled away.
"nope." Spot said shaking his head.
"Nothing at all." Echo told them with a shrug. Birdy was about to make a snappy comment about how obnoxious sarcasm is and how people should just be honest, when they were dismissed to go to there classes. Spot grabbed Echo's arm and pulled her out of her seat, they ran off, leaving Snicker and Birdy.
Birdy and Snicker walked alone, they were just about to turn a corner when Echo jumped out in front of them. Spot wasn't with her, and as soon as the two realized this, all of their faces lit up. Echo and Snicker began to squeal and Birdy embraced both of them in a large hug.
"He kissed you!! He really kissed you!!" Birdy shrieked with delight.
"man, we do good work!" Snicker said before giving Birdy a high-five.

Birdy was feeling very dreamy, considering the current events in her circle of friends. The subject of her daydreaming was sitting across her Algebra classroom. He looked just as out of focus as she was. Normally, Birdy would take a few notes and attempt to make sense of her teacher's incredibly fast teaching method. Today, she could care less. Birdy rested her gaze on Blink, who appeared to be doodling in his notebook. After a few seconds, he looked up and their eyes locked. He grinned at her briefly, then reached for his pocket. He inconspicuously pulled out his phone and began to text furiously. A few seconds later, Birdy felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Should she answer? It would be hypocritical, since she was always irritable with people who texted in class. Just this one time, she decided. Birdy slowly slipped her phone out and opened the message that awaited her. It was, in fact, from Blink. Hey, Birdy. Are you open this Friday? the message read. Birdy's heart was pumping madly. He was asking her on a DATE! At least, it appeared that way. Sure. Why do you ask? she wrote back, trying to sound nonchalant. Birdy glanced at Blink, who was looking down at his phone. She looked back at the open page in her notebook, which was totally empty. Her phone trembled with the announcement of another text. Will you go out with me? it simply stated. Birdy was frozen; too surprised to answer back. The bell echoed through the room, and students grabbed their books and dashed out. Birdy and Blink lingered. Birdy walked slowly up to him. "Yes." she whispered as they held each other's gazes. Blink reached out and took her hand, and they walked down the halls together, completely unaware of anything but each other. ((I couldn't help but do this, romance is in the air! ))

((Not for Snicker, unfortunately.)) Snicker sat in her last class for the day, English. She liked English. "Do dust and must rhyme ok? I'm just unsure because last time we did these Mrs. Wall said tree and Dee didn't rhyme..." Snicker asked the boy sitting next to her. "Thats what she said." He said with a, well, a snicker. He and the boys sitting around him began to laugh. "That didn't even make any sense!" Snicker exclaimed. "Ahem! Ms. Kennedy, zip it." Mrs. Wall snapped. "My apologies." She whimpered. Snicker finished her paper and flipped her notebook to an open page to scribble something. She ended up with a drawing of a little girl with long dark hair holding a balloon and crying. You are so pathetic.

((GAH! CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR'S HAVE PAST! it's like they never even happend/existed...))
Snicker lumbered next to an extremly giddy Echo. Echo kept quiet seeing that Snicker was upset, but she couldn't help but smile wildly.
"Why so glum Angela? And Lucie, why so happy? What, did you two get in an argument ending in Lucie's favor?" The school princible asked with a bit of joking smile playing at hs lips. Snicker stared up at him trying to put on a happy face and come up with a decent response, and failed...
"Just having a bad day Mr. Gwinett! Bye, we gotta get to class!" Echo piped up, right before grabbing Snicker's hand and pulling her out of the situation.
((I'm not really sure how Echo would react to how Snicker is feeling at this point in time,so i'm at a bit of a loss with those two...)) ((and why can't you post Snicker, hmmm?))
